ENHANCING COLLABORATION & ACCOUNTABILITY

At Kintsugi Integrative Practice, we are dedicated to providing quality psychiatric health care to all of our patients.

01

Active Patient Requirement

Kintsugi Integrative Practice requires that all active patients be seen in person every three months to continue as patients.

02

Refill Policy

All medication refills can take up to 48 hours to process. Any refills requested on weekends or holidays may take longer.

03

Controlled Substances

Some medications are closely regulated by the DEA. These medications can be very beneficial when utilized.  All medications require monthly monitoring as part of your comprehensive treatment plan. Controlled substances cannot be refilled without an appointment every 30/days. Please plan accordingly.

Kintsugi Integrative Practice utilizes I-STOP/PMP, a NYS Prescription Monitoring Program. The I-STOP/PMP program is designed to limit the abuse and diversion of certain medications.

04

No Show & Cancelled Appointment Policy

Kintsugi Integrative Practice will work actively with patients and families to reduce the number of no-shows or canceled appointments. As a patient-centered mental health practice, our goal is to provide the best quality of care.

To ensure that our patients do not miss their appointments, our practice utilizes an automated appointment reminder system that sends out alerts through phone calls or text messaging.

Please ensure that your personal information is accurate and up to date during every appointment.

If you need to cancel your appointment, please contact us 24 hours prior to your scheduled visit.

We understand that unforeseen circumstances and emergencies may cause someone to miss an appointment.

Any missed appointment may result in a no-show fee of $50 for current patients and $100 for new patients appointments.

New patients that do not show for their appointment may not be able to reschedule for a future visit.

05
